In 2016, the idea was born, aimed at establishing a unique franchise concept in the form of fast-casual with a focus on waffles, pancakes and crepes with further expansion of milkshakes, fresh-juices and other complementary assortment. The whole concept became a reality in 2017, when the first Waf-Waf branch opened in Prague on Letná. Over the next few years, the number of branches was expanded to include locations in Prague 2, Prague 1 and a franchise establishment in Brno. In the following years, work was done internally to create a strong structure and facilities that enabled the company's digital development and thus increased interest in new locations in the form of a franchise model. Our current outlook is to open several Waf-Waf locations this year and reach a total of 7 locations by the end of the year across the Czech Republic. For 2024-2025, the Waf-Waf strategy is focused on initial foreign expansions, for which there is already considerable demand.
